Perisher has been nominated as Australia's Best Ski Resort in the World Ski Awards, a global initiative that recognizes, rewards and celebrates excellence in ski tourism industry around the world. An annual 3 day event, held in Kitzbuhel, Austria, is the only time that the international leaders of the industry come together to exchange knowledge, innovation and principles of practice on the global stage.

The World Ski Awards aim to increase standards and raise the bar within the industry globally while rewarding those organizations in which are leaders.  Perisher has once again been nominated for the prestigious title of Australia’s Best Ski Resort. Perisher offers guests an unparalleled snow holiday experience with the largest skiable terrain in the southern hemisphere spread across four unique and diverse resort areas, multiple award winning Terrain Parks & Pipe, hundreds of energy efficient snow-guns and constant development through significant investment.

The 2018 season saw a peak snow depth of 2.2 metres, with heavy, consistent snowfall allowing sensational skiing and snowboarding week after week.
