Today at Perisher

A Dusting of Fresh Stuff Overnight, & a Surprise On the Way!

It’s a brisk and snowy morning here at Perisher, with the mountain receiving a light dusting of fresh snow overnight, just enough to top up the stoke levels! We’re sitting at a top of -1°C today, with snow showers rolling through and strong winds in the mix, so it’s a good one to rug up and ride smart.

71 groomed trails are ready to roll thanks to our hardworking groomers, with smooth cord underfoot for early turns. Some lifts are currently on wind hold in the interest of safety, so we recommend sticking to lower, more protected areas until conditions ease.

In the interest of guest and staff safety, it is likely that lifts will be on hold today due to strong winds. Please check the Perisher Lift Report and opt-in to ‘Snow & Weather’ and ‘Lift & Operations’ notifications in the Perisher app for the latest updates.

HOT TIP:

  • Stay glued to our socials today, something exciting is happening on the hill!

WHAT TO WEAR:

Today calls for your warmest outer layers, insulated jackets, waterproof pants, and thermals underneath to best deal with these strong winds. A neck warmer or balaclava, low-light goggles, and gloves or mitts are essential. Windproof gear will go a long way in keeping you comfortable, and don’t forget to pack a few extra layers if you’re planning a full day out. Missing something? Pop by Perisher Sports or Slopestyle, where our expert team will have you set up with everything you need!

LOOKING AHEAD:

  • Thursday 24th & Friday 25th July: Volkl, Black Crows, and Atomic Demo Days in Front Valley, next to the bridge. Test the latest gear from top ski and snowboard brands.

  • Friday 25th & Saturday 26th July: Chicks Who Shred is back! A fun, supportive event to ride with some of the best female athletes in the industry. Whether you're looking to progress or just enjoy laps with a like-minded crew, it's a great way to get involved.

  • 26th & 27th July: Faction Demos. Try the latest gear and find your perfect fit.

Enjoy it out there today and be sure to ride to the conditions!
