Today at Perisher

Welcome to September at Perisher

Good morning and welcome to Tuesday at Perisher!

Spring might be upon us, but it’s still feeling very wintry out there this morning as temps dropped below freezing overnight. Day two of the new season is serving up a mix of sunshine and cloud with a top of 4°C, making for another fantastic day on the mountain.

Our grooming crew have laid down the corduroy, with 83 freshly groomed trails ready to explore across all four resort areas today. From smooth morning laps on Mt Perisher to wide-open turns at Blue Cow and the stunning views from Guthega, there’s something for everyone out there today.

The vibes are high, the snow is riding beautifully, and the mountain is primed for another great day. Grab your crew, gear up, and make the most of it...not-so-spring skiing is off to a flying start!

As always, alpine conditions can be unpredictable, stay up to date via the Lift Report and opt-in to ‘Snow & Weather’ and ‘Lift & Operations’ notifications in the Perisher App so you’re always in the loop.

WHAT TO WEAR:

Similar to yesterday, lightweight breathable base layers and plenty of SPF! Missing something? Head into Perisher Sports or Slopestyle, where we’ve got 30% off outerwear, footwear, and apparel. *Exclusions apply

LENS OF THE DAY:

With a mix of sun and clouds expected, we recommend a highlight or variable light lens today.

*Natural snow depth is supplemented with snowmaking in certain areas. Natural snow depth is measured at roughly 1,830m by Snowy Hydro Limited who have invested in new instrumentation across the Snowy Scheme and can now provide more frequent snow depth readings at a site close to the Spencers Creek snow course. This near real-time snow depth information is available HERE.
