Learn the basics, master a new skill or simply brush up on what you already know, Perisher's Adult Group Lessons are designed to build confidence and skill in a safe, fun, and social setting.

Adult 2-Hour Lesson

Adult 2 hour group lessons at Perisher are intended for skiers and snowboarders aged 15+ and are designed to increase confidence on the mountain while also teaching or refining existing skills. Small group sizes allocated based on ability level means instructor attention is personalised, maximising your lesson and overall experience on the snow.

What to expect

• 2 hours with a qualified and highly-experienced instructor
• Small class sizes
• A fun and safe lesson tailored to the group's ability level
• The opportunity to explore Perisher's variety of trails, dependent on group ability level

Lesson details

• Available for ski and snowboard, from first-timer to advanced
• Choose from an 9am or 11am start time any day of the week (pending availability) starting from Perisher Valley - ideal for those looking to explore more of Perisher
• For first timers and beginners, we recommend selecting a 10:30am lesson from Smiggin Holes, home to Perisher's best beginner terrain

Additional details

• Lesson costs do not include lift access. Please ensure you have a valid lift ticket for the day of your lesson. Your lift ticket will be scanned at the beginning of the lesson as you are grouped into classes.
• Book online and in advance to secure your preferred lesson dates, particularly during School Holiday periods
• Please consider travel time and potential delays when attending a lesson and allow for extra time during Peak Snow Days
• Perisher strongly recommends the use of helmets when participating in snowsports
• To assist with class allocation, please advise Snowsports School staff of your previous on-snow experience and current ability level when arriving at the lesson meeting place

1-Day Learn to Turn Program

The Learn to Turn Package is perfect for adults (15+) who have never skied or snowboarded before. The package includes a specialised beginner group lesson and a limited access lift ticket for you to continue to practice your turns post lesson!

• Limited access lift ticket

• Available for beginner skiers and snowboarders
• Choose from 9am or 11am start time at Perisher, or a 10:30am start time from Blue Cow or Smiggin Hole (pending availability)

Preparing for your Lesson

When should I arrive for my lesson?

We recommend arriving 10 minutes before your lesson start time. Please allow extra time to travel around the resort in peak times (weekends and school holidays) to avoid being late to your lesson.

Do I need to collect my rentals before I go to my lesson?​

Yes, make sure you have all your rental gear, waterproof clothing, gloves and other necessary items before your lesson. If possible, we recommend collecting all of your rental gear the afternoon prior to your lesson. If you are picking up rental gear the morning of your lesson, please allow at plenty of time before your lesson meeting time to do so.
