There are a variety of ways to get to Perisher.

If you’re driving from Sydney we suggest leaving between five and six hours to get here. If you’re coming from Melbourne it’s usually around a six hour drive. If you’re driving to Perisher from Jindabyne it’s an easy half hour drive in good weather.

In winter conditions can become challenging. High winds, snow and ice can make these roads unpredictable.  Please drive to the conditions, slow down and leave a safe distance between your car and the car in front of you. Keep in mind that you're legally required to carry properly fitting chains in any vehicle other than 4WD's within the National Park. All details about entering the National Parks can be found on their website.

Beginner

Smiggins is a great place to start your snow experience, with a mix of Green (Beginner) and Blue (Intermediate) runs. Front Valley in Perisher also offers a great learning experience with a sectioned off Beginner area & access to lessons. We would strongly recommend all beginner guests get a lesson. For information on lessons please hit the link below.

Intermediate

Perisher is an intermediate riders dream with 4 resort areas offering plenty of skiable terrain. Access our 'Magic Morning Route' via Leichhardt Quad Chair - Mt P Triple Chair - Eyre T-Bar - Sun Valley T-Bar - Leichhardt Quad Chair back to Centre Valley. 

If you're looking for Powder Paradise hit The Cleft. Guthega offers high-speed intermediate skiing & boarding with less people & shorter cues, while you're there drop by the Burning Log & take a ride on Freedom Chair. Blue Cow: Home to some of Perishers longest runs hit Side Saddle, or take it up a gear of Excelerator!

Advanced

Fire up your legs in North Perisher, North P T-Bar offers unreal, undiscovered, untouched powder! (Snow dependant). If you're feeling like a real dare devil hit Devils Playground in Blue Cow or drop into Kamikaze / Rock Garden. Take on your Olympic dreams on Olympic T-Bar (EXPERIENCED RIDERS ONLY)
