What a Storm to Kick Things Off!

Winter came in with a bang over the weekend, delivering over 60cm of fresh snowfall across the resort. Combined with perfect cold temps for snowmaking, this was the kind of storm we dream about. The mountain is looking incredible and a picture-perfect winter backdrop that’s setting us up for one of the strongest starts to the season in recent years. There’s nothing like the magic of that first big snowfall and it’s only just the beginning.

More Terrain Incoming!

Winter is officially ON, and we’re pumped to be opening even more of the mountain this week! From Thursday, 12 June, the Perisher Quad Express will be spinning with access up to mid station, ideal for getting those early season legs moving and squeezing in some solid laps. Then from Friday, 13 June, Leichhardt precinct including Leichhardt Quad will be good to go! That means more intermediate terrain, more space to ride, and more ways to level up your day on the hill.

The June long weekend wasn’t just a win for snow, it was a win for memories. From wide-eyed first-timers catching snowflakes on their tongues to early risers carving perfect corduroy laps, the mountain was alive with joy. Families laughed, friendships deepened, and unforgettable moments unfolded under snow-covered skies. It was everything we love about winter and the perfect way to Discover Your Moment at Perisher.
