Certified Ski and Snowboard Instructor with experience

If you:

• Hold a recognised Snowsports instructor or coach certification.

• Have proof of experience teaching at a recognised Snowsports school, and

• Have an advanced skiing or riding ability.

Uncertified - Develop your career as a ski or snowboard instructor

Perisher Snowsports School is looking for intermediate and advanced skiers and/or snowboarders who are passionate about snow and eager to learn how to teach others.

Since it is required that all instructors are certified, Perisher Snowsports School will provide on-snow APSI (Australian Professional Snowsports Instructor) Level One Training and your first APSI Level One Examination at no cost to successful uncertified applicants. Plus, all of our instructors receive ongoing professional training throughout the term of their employment.

Junior Instructor (16-18 years)

Perisher Snowsports School is thrilled about offering Junior Instructor positions to local children this season. If this sounds tempting, check out the details and apply!

This is a support role to senior instructors working with the Perisher Kids program. Duties include assisting with teaching area set up, guest check-in, class level assignments and shadowing senior instructors while teaching a class.

This position will provide an instructor certification and real teaching experience and prepare our Juniors for an instructor role once they reach their 18th birthday.

Applicants must be between 16 and 17 years of age, have high intermediate to advance skiing or snowboarding ability and local accommodation.

Instructor Support Crew

Do you enjoy working with children and being outdoors in our snowy environment? Snowsports support crew workers are our support team for the Perisher Kids Department and love nothing more than helping our younger guests enjoy their experience. 

Our support crew have a pro-active approach to work, have strong people skills, patience and a friendly personality.

If you enjoy being outdoors, have experience working with children (i.e. day care or community sports) and are excited about experiencing the snow and our mountain environment - then we want to hear from you!

Instructor Support Crew roles are open to Junior applicants between 16-17 years of age.
